Professor Description *
Professor Miller is an influential behavioral economist whose research examines decision-making under uncertainty and its implications for public policy. He holds a joint Ph.D. in Economics and Psychology from the University of Chicago and has served as an advisor to the Federal Reserve and World Bank. His book 'Predictably Irrational: Economic Decision Making in the Real World' has been translated into 22 languages and was a New York Times bestseller. Professor Miller's courses incorporate experimental methods and real-world case studies to demonstrate economic principles in action. He founded Columbia's Center for Economic Behavior Research where he mentors students in designing and conducting economic experiments.
