Biography
Dr. Williams is a pioneer in the field of microelectronics and quantum computing systems. Her groundbreaking research on quantum circuit design has been featured in Science and Nature journals and led to three patents currently used in industry. She previously worked as a lead engineer at IBM Research before joining Columbia's faculty in 2015. Dr. Williams runs one of the most advanced quantum computing labs in the country, funded by major grants from NSF and DARPA. Her teaching combines theoretical rigor with practical applications, preparing students for both academic research and industry positions in emerging technologies.
